Meet Dr. Lynne Logan
Dr. Lynne Logan is a Licensed Individual, Marriage, Family Therapist licensed in California. She is a Certified EMDR Specialist by EMDRIA, and has been in private practice for over twenty-five years in clinical out patient and hospital settings, working with individuals, couples, teens, and children.
Dr. Lynne has conducted workshops, weekend retreats, and spoken at many national conferences. She worked at Kaiser Permanente in California in the Addiction Medicine Department, specializing in Chemical Dependency, and completed a Residency in Training Program at the Betty Ford Center in Palm Desert, CA.
She has worked extensively with clients prominent in the entertainment industry, and has over 200 appearances on national talk shows including:

She was the creator and host of the Los Angeles based television talk show “A Slice of Life”, focusing on psychological, family and relationship issues. In addition, she hosted a call-in radio talk show discussing important issues such as self esteem, relationships, eating disorders, codependency, intimacy, love, addictions, how to forgive, guilt, eating disorders, depression, anger, anxiety and parenting.
Dr. Lynne is a Certified EMDR Therapist by EMDRIA. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), is a method of treatment extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of all levels of trauma. To date, EMDR has helped an estimated two million people of all ages relieve many types of psychological stress. Dr. Lynne has a special concern for those who have suffered early childhood traumas, victims of crime, and military veterans who suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
A member of the Disaster Medical Assistance Team, Dr. Lynne was most recently deployed to the Hurricane Katrina disaster area. DMAT is a group of medical and professional personnel designed to be a rapid response team to supplement local medical care during disasters until Federal or other resources arrive on the scene.
